Disinfectants

Diversey is the industry leader in commercial hard surface disinfection. Our newest proprietary disinfectant technology (AHP) uses the power of hydrogen peroxide to provide a range of disinfectants registered with Health Canada or the US-EPA. Due to their excellent surface safety and environmental profiles, disinfectants powered by AHP technology are fast becoming the disinfectant technology of choice in North America.

Diversey’s AHP technology uses hydrogen peroxide as its active ingredient. AHP is a blend of surfactants, chelating agents, and low levels of hydrogen peroxide. Because of its excellent cleaning performance, AHP technology can be incorporated into products for use in healthcare, education, health clubs, lodging, retail, and industrial facilities.

AHP technology, which contains the active ingredient hydrogen peroxide, offers many benefits:

  • The active ingredient (hydrogen peroxide) breaks down to water and oxygen
  • An excellent surface safety profile, especially when compared to chlorinated products
  • Low odor – does not require added fragrances
  • Use solutions are essentially non-irritating for employees and patients.
  • Contains no VOC’s or APEO’s

Diversey and Virox Technologies Inc, who developed the AHP technology, have had this technology available for several years in Canada for surface disinfection and sanitization. Products containing AHP technology are just now being introduced to the US healthcare market.

Cleaners

Hydrogen peroxide can be combined with other cleaning agents to create cleaning products that perform well even in challenging environments. Bathroom Disinfectant Cleaners

Diversey offers one-step disinfectant cleaners formulated with patented hydrogen peroxide technology to clean, disinfect, and deodorize all hard, non-porous, washable bathroom surfaces. They are EPA registered disinfectants –bactericidal and virucidal with an active ingredient that breaks down to oxygen and water.

  • Alpha-HP® Bathroom Disinfectant Cleaner is versatile - use it on most water-washable restroom surfaces. Alpha-HP has both an excellent environmental profile and cleaning performance with a pleasant citrus fragrance. For a true green profile, bundle it with the Pace® High Impact Floor Cleaning System and MicroQuick® Microfiber Cleaning Cloths.
