Oxivir spray - the powerful Detergent Disinfectant
Oxivir is a unique and powerful detergent disinfectant with excellent bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal activity that does not compromise on cleaning performance.
It is ideal for dealing with contaminated body spillages, controlling pathogen outbreaks and cleaning high risk infection areas. Its innovative formulation contains the patented Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide to disinfect a wide range of pathogens including influenza, Norovirus, H1N1, MRSA, E. Coli, SARS, and Hepatitis C. The active ingredients do not promote resistant strain development. This broad-spectrum detergent-disinfectant leaves less residue and is suitable for a wider range of uses than quaternary ammonium compounds based products.
Oxivir is based on a blend of ingredients that are non-staining and contain no perfumes which makes it suitable for most washable hard and soft surfaces, including fabrics and soft furnishings, commonly found in healthcare, lodging and office buildings. It is Woolsafe certified and approved. For hard surfaces Oxivir’s acid anionic component gives effective descaling properties with minimal streaking. This simultaneous cleaning and high efficacy disinfection action differentiates Oxivir from other disinfectants on the market. The dual action promotes cleaning confidence as well as saving time and money. The active ingredients biodegrade harmlessly to water and oxygen.
Oxivir is available in a ready-to-use trigger bottle and as a concentrate to use with the J-Flex dilution control system. It is also available in a special Oxivir Spill Kit that contains everything needed to clean up and contain body spillages and target ‘hot spots’ quickly and efficiently to reduce outbreak frequency and longevity.
Oxivir Spray was an Innovation Award winner at the Cleaning Show 2005.
