  • Owner Mentality: The American author Booker T. Washington famously stated that, “Few things can help an individual more than to place responsibility upon him, and to let him know that you trust him.” This brings us to Sealed Air’s second core competency – Owner Mentality. To be a successful employee, it is vital that you hold yourself accountable for your actions – whether good or bad. If this is something that you as an employee are failing to do, then there are ways that this can be remedied. Have a set of clearly articulated goals that specifically state the outcome required – which will then establish whether you are effectively reaching them.

  • Agile through Adversity: At any company, demonstrating the ability to bounce back when faced with complex situations is key. Remaining focused and composed in stressful situations can be tricky, but it is a skill that once mastered, will prove invaluable for your customers.
