A New Beginning

I am excited to share with you all that today Diversey officially became an independent, stand-alone company. This is an exciting time for all of us here at Diversey. On behalf of our more than 9,000 employees worldwide, I want to say, thank you.

Our products, deep industry experience, unrivalled employee engagement, and evolving digital capabilities put us in a unique position to provide unparalleled solutions to improve the sustainability and operating efficiency of businesses around the globe. And now, as a stand-alone company, we have the opportunity to spread our wings, if you will. As we become independent for only the second time in our 90-year history, I’m confident that we will emerge stronger, smarter and more agile than ever before. And as we work together with our formidable new ownership, we can have a singular focus, our Diversey customers. 

While the Diversey everyone has come to know and rely on has new owners, we are committed to staying loyal to where we came from. The good news is that with our heightened focus on our Diversey customers, we will be even more committed to investing in our people, technology and innovation to help their business minimize risk, be efficient, increase productivity, and protect brand integrity. 

The lotus flower, Diversey’s historic brand identity, represents that which is clean, beautiful and pure. It is the perfect symbol of “clean,” and cleaning is our business. Cleaning creates a sense of renewal; and now, renewal represents how we will embark on a new journey as an independent company. We will renew and strengthen our pledge to help you create a healthy, safe and sustainable planet while furthering your own abilities to “blossom” and prosper.
